Right Proper Brewing is a DC-based brewery creating funky, unique beers. They reached out to me in 2017 to create labels for their bottled beers and limited-release canned beers. I developed a general look and feel for the labels, and Right Proper Brewing hired local artists to create artwork that would act as the focal point for the labels.

Right Proper Brewing prides themselves on their handcrafted unique beers and wanted their labels to reflect those same qualities. After multiple discussions with their head brewer and their cofounder, it was determined a hand-drawn look was the direction that best reflected what they wanted to show. As their brand has progressed over the years, a stronger balance between clean/modern design and the handcrafted design they started with has been struck. This is now especially evident in the sell sheets they had me develop for them to display within the brewery, farmer's markets, and share with distributors.

I have developed over 20 beer labels and 15 sell sheets for them and they continue to utilize my services for every additional special-release beer they develop.
