Revive! is an annual food and beer pairing event put on by the Brewers Association of Maryland. It showcases gold-medal-winning Maryland beers and couples them with highly-rated Maryland restaurants/chefs that utilize Maryland agriculture. The event is held at the Shrine of St. Anthony in Ellicott City, a spectacular late-Italian Renaissance building situated on 310 acres of rolling hills and woodlands located in the heart of the Baltimore-Washington area.

I was approached by Forty & Grow on behalf of The Brewers Association of Maryland to create a logo. They wanted a logo that captured the agricultural core of what the event represents while referencing the venue where it is held. Additionally, they wanted the logo to be simple for printing purposes. The final product was a clean archway with a barley stalk emerging from the ground.
